Irvin is the COO of Enjoin, a startup developing KYC and software tools for the digitization and automation of agreements within the real estate development lifecycle. He dedicates part of his time as a lecturer and a senior research scientist at the Advanced Telerobotics Research (ATR) Laboratory at Kent State University, where he leads their research efforts in humanoid telepresence and smart environments. Currently, Irvin also serves as a strategic advisor to startups in the fintech, artificial intelligence and robotics space.

Prior to his current roles, Irvin worked at Goldman Sachs, where he was a SME in the firm’s blockchain strategy group, as well as a mentor in New York City’s FinTech Innovation Lab. In 2012, he co-founded Decentral Bank, one of the early bitcoin-blockchain startups that delivered blockchain solutions to tier-1 banks, and whose focused was on cryptocurrency-payments integration with such firms. He has also held research positions at NASA, other innovation laboratories and published 10+ peer-reviewed academic research publications.
